Refund & Hygiene Policy
Returns We have a 30-day return policy. If you wish to return an item, you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return.
Hygiene Policy Because NU-Deo is a handcrafted personal care product, we maintain a strict hygiene policy. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it—completely unopened, unused, and in its original packaging. We cannot accept returns on any deodorant tins once they have been opened or used.
How to Start a Return To start a return, you must contact us at otilia@nu-deo.ca. If your return is accepted, we will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Return Shipping Costs Please note that the customer is responsible for paying all return shipping costs. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Damages and Issues We take great pride in our handcrafted process. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately (within 48 hours) if the item is defective, damaged in transit, or if you received the wrong item. Please include a photo of the damaged product in your email to otilia@nu-deo.ca so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards, or products that have softened due to heat exposure after delivery. (If your deodorant softens in the summer heat, simply give it a quick stir and place it in the fridge for 20 minutes to restore its perfect creamy texture).
Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
Important: Refunds are issued for the purchase price of the product only. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
